ferberize 2
Tonight I celebrate success. I ferberized my baby, and now I am sitting in front of the computer with a bottle of cabernet listening to the Van Morrison CD I just got from the library.
I believe that by the weekend we will be sleeping 8 straight hours a night every night, and that is the best news I've had in many moons.
Viva le Dr. Ferber!

Oh, gee. I guess if you don't know what it means it must sound like "blenderize" or something. The above link will tell you more than you want to know. It means let the baby cry in her crib until she falls asleep.

Night one: Anthony screamed 30 minutes.(Mom and Dad twidled our thumbs!)
Night two: Anthony screamed 45 minutes. (Marage was in serious danger)
Night three: Anthony screamed 15 minutes. (Watched TV.)
Night four: Anthony screamed 10 sec. (Smile!)
