comment spam
Today whenever I post something on my blog, I immediately start receiving comment spam. (See comment about Britney Spears in my last post!)
Why does this happen, and how can I stop it?

this is what I'm talking about! 5 minutes after I post, I get this nonsense.
This must be stopped!
I get those too-- like immediately after I post something. I delete them (you the author click on 'post a comment' and then on the garbage can that appears by each comment, and then, 'remove permanently'). I wish I knew a better way though.
Blogspot has a program called "word verification: to help prevent unwanted spam. You can get it and quickly download it from the Blogspot dashboard. I use it as a preventative, and it hasn't failed yet.
